HIGH RISK PRO WRESTLING HISTORY

High Risk Pro Wrestling was opened in October 2006 and held it's first show on November 11th 2006 at the Uley Road Hall. The same venue that was later known as the 'High Risk Arena'. The home of HRPW.

In December 2006 we saw the debut of the first Australian weekly professional wrestling TV show in almost 30-years. HRPW: Action Wrestling was on Channel 31 every Wednesday night for 50 episodes. Some of these episodes included former ECW/WWE Champions Steve Corino and Raven direct from the USA.

In March and August 2007 HRPW brought former ECW, NWA and AWA World Heavyweight Champion 'King Of Old School' Steve Corino downunder for a series of successful events. On March 24th Steve Corino defeated Rocky Menero & Ryan Eagles to become the HRPW World Heavyweight Champion. He lost the belt in April to Rocky Menero on HRPW Action Wrestling TV show.

In October 2007 and April 2008 former 27x WWE Hardcore Champion Raven made his High Risk Pro Wrestling impressions. He became the HRPW World Heavyweight Champion after winning a tag match with his tag partner, TNT against Blake Mitchell & Big Mike in April 2008.
